This guide explains how to set up the Smart IPTV app on your Smart TV using your LuminaryTV subscription.
What you'll need:
- Your M3U URL (sent to you after signup, also visible in your client area under My Services)
- A Samsung or LG Smart TV, or a device that supports the Smart IPTV app
Step 1: Install the app
Download "Smart IPTV" from your TV's app store (Samsung Smart Hub or LG Content Store). Open it once installed.
Step 2: Find your MAC address
When you open Smart IPTV for the first time, it will display a MAC address on the screen (format like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX). Write this down, you'll need it in the next step.
Step 3: Register your MAC and add your playlist
On a computer or phone, go to siptv.app and log in or create a free account. Add your TV's MAC address, then paste in the M3U URL we provided you under the playlist/portal settings.
Step 4: Restart the app
Close and reopen the Smart IPTV app on your TV, or restart the TV. Your channel list should load automatically within a minute or two.
Troubleshooting
- If channels don't appear, double check the M3U URL was copied in full with no missing characters.
- If you get a "connection error," confirm your TV is connected to the internet and try again after a few minutes.
- If it still doesn't work, open a support ticket with your MAC address and the exact error shown on screen.
